Used as an anticaking agent.
Sodium ferrocyanide is the anticaking agent in most table salt. As with the potassium form, the cyanide is bound to iron in a stable complex rather than present as free cyanide.

What it is made from
Manufactured from hydrogen cyanide, iron salts and sodium hydroxide. Its traditional name comes from Prussian blue, the pigment made from the same iron-cyanide chemistry.
